18-Week Ultrasound

Today we had what was to be our second ultrasound in 4D... however, for today, little Baby Rosenbaum did not like the attention. The baby kept its face buried in the placenta making it impossible to get any 4D images that looked like anything more than Skeletor of Castle Grayskull. Brook thinks maybe the baby just got an early jump on Halloween, but I think the baby was being shy... in any case, no 4D photos were captured. So here are two basic ultrasound photos that show a pretty good outline of the babe (the black hole is its stomach, and you can easily see its little knees, its right arm, and its spine). Baby R. measures between 9"-10" and weighs 9 ounces... and I have had the distinct joy of beginning to feel the baby move. Incredible!

Hats Off to Baby R!

Here are cute hats to keep the tiny baby's head warm. The adorable yellow "cactus" hat is an original design by my very creative friend Karen Smith - and I made the "bunny ears" hat.

Stay tuned...

Our next 4D ultrasound is scheduled for September 12!

13-Week Ultrasound (in 4D!)

Here is the baby on August 1st (at 13 weeks). The 4D imaging is unbelievable! The baby measures about 2.5 inches in these photos.

The Big News!

On June 20, 2006, we learned some very big news. We are having a baby! Here is our first ultrasound photo. The tiny circle at the center is the baby (too small to determine how far along).
