Yesterday Brook had the afternoon free so we went to a playground we recently discovered about two minutes from our house.  Max squealed with delight upon seeing this train... oh, the joys of being a one!

Happy Easter!

  

The lovely Paques family (Tjessaline, Joost, Jorrit & Friso - our friends from Holland) hosted a beautiful Easter gathering at their house on Sunday (in French, Easter is Paques, so we joined the "Paques' Paques" celebration!).  In addition to our little family, Barbara, Eli, Natalia & Rafaela (Chile), and Mencia, Benjamin, Victoria & Tanya (Belgium) were there.  It was complete with an abundance of delicious food, wonderful friends and an Easter Egg Hunt in the garden.

bon anniversaire, natalia!

Natalia turned 4 on Saturday!  We celebrated in typical Natalia style - all the kids in costumes!  It was a really fun party with lots of food and candy and a pinata.  And to add excitement to the day, for a few minutes it snowed and hailed outside!  Here's a video clip of Natalia in her Little Mermaid wedding dress with her brand new High School Musical microphone.

papi comes to france...

This past weekend, my dad/Max's Papi was here to see us.  Despite the horrible weather, we had a great time.  Brook and he toured the chateau, and otherwise - due to the weather - we just ate a lot of fantastic French food.  Poor us - c'est la vie!
