on the run...
Max is walking! He took his initial steps on my birthday (February 10) and one month later, he's really got the hang of it! Although he's still a little unsteady at times, he is determined and very proud of himself. Check out this little video taken in our (very dimly lit) hotel room.

february in review...
February began with more settling into our new life in France. Brook remained very busy with school, and Max and I kept busy with new friends and a new routine. Unfortunately Max caught a bad virus and was really sick for almost ten days, but when he finally recovered, he was his usual charming self. Max and I spent the second two weeks of February in Boston. I guess that time doesn't technically count as part of the official 'France Adventure,' but we had a great time with Grammie, Papi, Kara and all of our friends in the area. It was a excellent (if busy) trip.
Happy First Birthday, Max!
The biggest event in February was Max's first birthday... we celebrated it twice, once on his actual birthday (February 15) with our new friends at INSEAD and then again at Grammie & Papi's house on the 23rd. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with Max, especially Jill, Rocky and Molly who came from Manhattan Beach/St. Louis!

We arrived in France on January 1st and it only took two months for us to get this website up and running... sorry for the delay!

(Almost) 37-Week Ultrasound
Today we went to a 4D imaging center to check on Baby Rosenbaum's progress at nearly 37 weeks. There isn't much room left in my belly, so the images are pretty squished... but we were very excited to see Baby R. anyway. We think it looks like a boy (specifically it looks like its Dad!) in these photos, but we won't know for sure until the baby officially arrives.

Pregnancy Progress
We are just three weeks away from Baby Rosenbaum's due date!!! And we haven't posted anything in a long time... so here is a quick photo re-cap of the pregnancy.
